Nazis and Arab Nationalists Can Speak the Truth – Jeffrey Herf Can Distort Reality

Print This Post Print This Post

By Paul Grubach-

Preface: Professor Jeffrey Herf is a widely acclaimed Holocaust historian and academic authority on National Socialist Germany and its relationship with the Arab/Muslim world.  Unfortunately, his books suffer from the same fallacies and spurious arguments that plague much of the pro-Zionist literature that is put out by mainstream, establishment sources on this issue.  With that being said, we would like to share with our readers a letter that Inconvenient History researcher Paul Grubach sent to Mr. Herf.

Re: Nazis and Arab Nationalists Can Speak the Truth: Jeffrey Herf Can Distort Reality.

Mr. Herf;

As always, I have a legitimate reason to contact you.  I am writing an analysis of your widely acclaimed book, Nazi Propaganda for the Arab World, for the online Revisionist journal, Inconvenient History (www.inconvenienthistory.com).  In the interests of fairness and truth, you are being given an opportunity to view my arguments and evidence prior to publication, even though I do not expect you to respond.  With that being said, consider the following important issues. Re: Does the World’s Most Prominent Opponent of “Holocaust Denial” Harbor a Hypocritical Double Standard on “Racist Nationalism?”

Ms. Lipstadt:

As you may know, I am planning to write another critique of your writings for Inconvenient History (www.inconvenienthistory.com).  In the interests of fairness and truth I am giving you an opportunity to view my arguments and evidence prior to publication on the revisionist web site.

Since you are the world’s most prominent academic opponent of “Holocaust denial,” I would like to bring to your attention a hypocritical double standard that appears to plague your thinking and that of the Holocaust Lobby in general.  It pertains to the issue of “racist nationalism.”

From state induced emigration of Jews – to evacuation – to the alleged mass murder.

By Wilfried Heink-

A while back I was made aware of a book by Rolf Vogel: “Ein Stempel hat gefehlt” (One rubber stamp was missing). The book, published in 1977, highlights the efforts made by various German officials to help Jews escape from what has become known as “Nazi Germany”. Vogel, the son of a German Father and a Jewish Mother, starts his narrative by writing that just a few days following his Fathers death, sometime at the beginning of September 1939 (no date given), two Gestapo (secret state police) officers knocked at the door, producing a search warrant. His Father had, however, close connections to Hjalmar Schacht, the former president of the state Bank and had given the senior Vogel a letter, stating that if there are threats by the Gestapo to contact him, telephone number provided. Schacht promised that he would do all in his power to help him. Vogel junior showed this letter to the officers, they excused themselves, saying that all must be a mistake, and left.

One State with Equal Rights of Citizenship for All

The views expressed in this article are those of the author and do not represent the views of, nor should they be attributed to, these institutions.

Although it is the 150th anniversary of our Civil War (April 1861), ostensibly fought to ensure that America would be one state with equal rights of citizenship for all, most Americans consider it “inconvenient” (if not downright anti-Semitic) to suggest that Israel/Palestine should also be treated as one state with equal rights of citizenship for all.  To express this very American goal is to refute our overwhelming desire to divide Palestine into two states and oppose a 130-year old dream to create a Jewish state in the Holy Land.
